Sumitomo plans maintenance at CPL plant in Oct

Japanese petrochemical major - Sumitomo Chemical is planning to undertake maintenance at its caprolactam (CPL) plant in October 2012.
The CPL plant located in Ehime has two lines and is currently operating at 100 percent production capacity rates, a Sumitomo official told fibre2fashion.
Line No-1 has a production capacity of 95,000 tons / year and line No-2 has a capacity of 85,000 tons / year, for a total CPL capacity of 180,000 tons / annum.
The official added that the plant is likely to remain shut for a period of one month. However, sometimes it is shut down for longer or lesser period.
