INVISTA, one of the world's largest integrated producers of polymers and fibers, and owner of the LYCRA fiber brand, will present unique fabric innovations at the 7th Fibers & Yarn 2012 in Mumbai (April 12-14). The fiber and fabric innovations by INVISTA in various apparel end uses – Ready-to-wear, Intimate Apparel, Activewear, Outdoor Apparel, Leg-wear and other performance categories can be experienced at the LYCRA fiber ZONE.

Intimate Apparel
Sculpting and smoothing-with comfort-is the essence of LYCRA BEAUTY fabric for silhouette-enhancing garments that offer the versatility that range from firm control to featherweight elegance. LYCRA BEAUTY fabric is set to create solutions that will satisfy the consumer expectations of this fast-changing shapewear category.

INVISTA's latest innovation textile solutions for longer-lasting and clearer whites, more brilliant fashion colors in Intimate Apparel fabrics is LYCRA fibre with W Technology. LYCRA fibre with W Technology, or LYCRA fibre T279W, has a package of enhancements that improves visual and physical fabric uniformity with an optimised lustre, colour-blending, and new proprietary spinning technology. This new level of performance brought by LYCRA fiber investment in technology is designed to offer improved whiteness retention, uniformity and brilliant colour clarity for fabrics and garments in intimate apparel.

Ready-to-wear
The office working environment demands garments that fulfill perfect combination of style, comfort, fit and long-lasting performance. That is the reason INVISTA Apparel launched LYCRA FREEF!T brand a performance fabric that keeps your ideal shirt crisp, cool, and smart looking. Shirts, trousers, and jackets made of LYCRA FREEF!T fabric offer comfort stretch without restricting body movement, or hugging to the skin. Air flow is important to consumers and this fabric delivers good breathability.

Women are more and more looking for jeans with high stretch and high recovery power. LYCRA dualFX fabric, made with patent technology from INVISTA, offers super stretch denim with extra comfortable fit that lasts longer. The heart of the technology involves combining LYCRA fiber and LYCRA T400 fiber weaved in the same fabric to give the garment high stretch, high recovery, and low shrinkage.

INVISTA will also re-invent men's denim with jeans made with TOUGH MAX LYCRA fabric. Twice as strong as comparable 100% cotton jeans, these fabrics withstand the rigors of everyday wear and tear. And, because they're made from a blend of cotton and high-performance LYCRA T400 fiber, they move with you for a comfortable fit that lasts.

Activewear and Outdoor Apparel
Sweating is body's natural mechanism to stay cool. INVISTA's COOLMAX fabric helps wearer body cool and dry by moving moisture away from the body and enhancing fabric drying rate. The moisture management performance of COOLMAX fabric is inherent to the fiber structure itself; therefore, the performance cannot be washed off.
