Integrated Textile Solutions (ITS), a leading contract manufacturer of industrial, military, textile, and apparel products, announces the appointment of industry veteran Dan Pittman to the position of Chief Operating Officer. In the newly created position, Pittman will leverage his more than 35 years of sewn-products experience to plan and direct all aspects of the organization's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives to ensure future growth.

“We are pleased to have Dan join the ITS team”, noted President David Thornhill. “His deep sewn-products engineering and production management experience will be a valuable asset to our business as we accelerate our growth in both current and new markets. We look forward to achieving great things together.”

Early in his career, Pittman served in a variety of apparel manufacturing roles with Kayser-Roth, Excello Shirts, Healthtex, and Bobbie Dan. He has since amassed deep experience in a wide range of industrial, military, transportation interiors, and other textile and sewn-products industries while leading unit production system engineering and implementation services for Eton Systems, INA Systems, and Gerber Technology. He most recently served as Director of Engineering and Sales Support for Eton Systems Inc.

“I look forward to building on the solid track record that ITS has established in our industry,” added Pittman. “The diverse industry and product capabilities that are already in place will allow me to leverage all of the experience I have gained over my career, while challenging me to continue to develop new and better solutions that will allow us to seize future business opportunities.”

Founded in 1936 and located in Salem, Virginia (USA), Integrated Textile Solutions provides contract manufacturing solutions for Industrial, Military, and Specialty Textile and Apparel products. The company's core capabilities include custom sewing, automated cutting, fabric welding, embroidery, inspection, rework, packaging, warehousing, and distribution services.
