Zaklady Azotowe Tarnow (ZAT) a leading Polish petrochemical producer has increased its caprolactam (CPL) capacity.

ZAT has hiked capacity from 95,000 tons per year to 101,000 tons per annum, up 6.3 percent. This additional capacity was made operational in the first quarter of 2012.

Meanwhile, ZAT sales zoomed to €1.28 billion in 2011 from €456 million in 2010, largely driven by two acquisitions in 2011.

ZAT anticipates its revenues to touch €1.56 billion in 2012, but expects net profits to dip from €119.9 million posted in 2011.
