Chinese CPL spot import market steady on April 24

China's spot market of caprolactam (CPL) imports stayed steady on April 24. The market was covered with wait-and-see atmosphere, actual negotiation was scarce.
Cargo holders offered in the range of US $2530-2550 / ton (CFR China main port, L/C 90 days), downstream manufacturers bid around $2,500 / ton and actually negotiated price was in the range of $2520-2530 / ton.
Likewise, China's domestic CPL spot market was light on April 24. Cargo holders made few offers and trading atmosphere was light in the market, actual turnover was rare.
Sporadic offers in the market were in the range of 20,000-20,100 Yuan / ton, downstream bids were at 19,700 Yuan / ton and actual negotiations focused around 19,800 Yuan / ton.
