PX, PTA & MEG trends continue fall

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asia. In S E Asian countries, PX prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1555/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted in between US$ 1525/ton to US$ 1530/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market also declined and hovered in the range of US$ 1555/ton to US$ 1560/ton.
PTA prices too moved down in Asian region. In F E Asian and S E Asian countries, PTA prices stood in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1165/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down and were assessed at US$ 1165/ton to US$ 1170/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were marked at RMB 8600/ton to RMB 8650/ton.
Ethylene prices stayed stable in the Asian market. In S E Asian countries, Ethylene prices were inert in the range of US$ 1410/ton and US$ 1415/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene price hovered at US$ 1385/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of 69.50 cents/pound to 70.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were unchanged in European domestic and international market, and were assessed at € 1200/ton and US$ 1505/ton respectively.
MEG prices declined slightly in Asia. In S E Asian markets, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 970/ton to US$ 975/ton. In China market, MEG prices were assessed in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went down and were offered in between RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
In S E Asian countries, BG PET Chips prices were quoted stable in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1575/ton. In F E Asian markets, counter offers were around US$ 1550/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices were witnessed at RMB 10950/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices were in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices went down slightly and were assessed in the range of RMB 10350/ton to RMB 10400/ton.
PSF prices surged up in the Asian market. In F E Asian market, PSF prices hovered in the range of US$ 1595/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were in the range of US$ 1495/ton to US$ 1500/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were offered in the range of RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11150/ton.
In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained steady and were marked at RMB 11200/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11300/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY rose to US$ 1525/ton, US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1525/ton, respectively.
