Bhaskar denim a Dainik Bhaskar group company, incorporated in the year 1985 as a spinning mills in Bhopal, India, is now among top 5 denim mills in the country producing 42 Million Meters per annum. Bhaskar is a vertically integrated Mill with Spinning, Dyeing, Weaving & Finishing under one roof. Through the event Bhaskar denim showcased the Spring Summer 13 collection, its bestsellers and the quick delivery collection. As a significant part of the event, Bhaskar denim also organized a washing competition among the mid-level washing laundries. 26 washing laundries showcased their innovative washes on the common fabric provided by Bhaskar and awards were given to 5 different categories.

Giving utmost importance to this segment of the business, bhaskar launches 2 collections every year namely spring summer and autumn winter. Their International and in-house product development team strives hard to give the best products to the market. Bhaskar product range includes, flat finished, coated, padded fabrics, utilizing special blends such as linen, tencel and other specialty fibers. Bhaskar denim has also introduced a concept of quick delivery collection to cater to the small quantities and immediate fabric requirements of small and medium scale brands.

Mr.Srigopal Jhawar, Business Head Bhaskar denim, says that Indian denim industry is growing at a rate of 12% and which is a very healthy sign. The current Indian denim production capacity of 850 million meters per annum is expected to cross 1000 million meters by 2015. With a current sale turnover of nearly 750 crores Bhaskar Denim is expected to grow 10% in the financial year 2012-13.
