A large consignment of contraband textile being smuggled in a petrol tanker has been uncovered by Customs officials in Kano.
The consignment consisted of fabrics, assorted lace and brocade materials, among others.
Customs Comptroller, Ibrahim Mera, said that they were firm in stopping the contraband goods from entering the state.
