Canadian mattress firm SAS takes control of Natura World

Spring Air Sommex Corp. (SAS), the largest Canadian owned manufacturer of mattress and bedding products, has taken control of its competitor Natura World Inc., which includes exclusive rights to Natura brands across North America and its manufacturing operations in Cambridge, Ontario.
SAS undertakes production of its Obus Forme and Sommex brand mattresses at its facilities in Toronto; Trois-Rivières, Quebec; and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Valerie Stranix, Chief Marketing Officer SAS, said they are delighted to have contributed in sustaining Natura's development.
Natura features a fine natural product line and possesses a unique place in the market offering premium quality pillows, latex mattresses and wool toppers, SAS said.
Natura would function as a separate division of SAS and Natura's Co-founder and President Ralph Rossdeutscher would be appointed as the Executive Vice President of the said division. The division would continue to use its already existing facility in Cambridge.
SAS Executive Vice President Sales, Ed Farquharson, said SAS's standing for excellence in service, quality craftsmanship and shipment accuracy would greatly advantage the Natura brand as well as its customers.
