Texhong textile project gets provincial support

The local government of Northern Quang Ninh Province has urged various government agencies to hasten the process of granting permission for various utility services to the proposed textile unit of Texhong Textile Group.
The Provincial People's Committee has asked the agencies to provide water and electricity connection to the project at the earliest.
Texhong has proposed to set up a US $300 million spinning unit with an annual capacity of 140,000 tons at Hai Yen Industrial Zone in Northern Quang Ninh Province.
The Hong Kong headquartered - Texhong Textile Group was established in 1997 and is considered amongst the top ten Chinese cotton textile enterprises.
