Both newly appointed Alternates are representatives from the importer segment making up The Cotton Board. They are: Sapna Sapru from Forest Hills, New York and Kris T. Arabia from Orlando, Florida. The terms of the new Alternate appointees expire on December 31, 2013.

The Cotton Board Chairman, John Clark an importer from Los Angeles, California was pleased with Secretary Vilsack's appointments saying, “The Member appointees, Aaron Barcellos and Roger Glaspey are both experienced Members with an exceptional working-knowledge of The Cotton Board.
