PTA, PX & PSF prices fall; Ethylene shows mixed trend

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in the Asian countries. In S E Asian region, PX prices plunged down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1450/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined slightly and were quoted in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton.
In the Asian region, PTA prices dropped down. In S E Asian countries, PTA prices plunged down and were assessed at US$ 1095/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1090/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market inched down and were offered in the range of US$ 1115/ton to US$ 1120/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down and were in the range RMB 8400/ton to RMB 8450/ton.
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in the Asian market. In S E Asian countries, Ethylene prices plunged down and were quoted at US$ 1175/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices stayed steady and were hovered at US$ 1230/ton.
In the US market, Ethylene prices inched down and were assessed in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. In European international and domestic markets, Ethylene prices remained unchanged at US$ 1365/ton and € 1070/ton, respectively.
MEG prices declined in Asia. In S E Asian market, MEG prices were quoted in the range of US$ 970/ton to US$ 975/ton. In China market, MEG prices went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG prices dropped down and hovered in the range RMB 7390/ton to RMB 7440/ton.
In S E Asian countries, BG PET Chips prices went down and were in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1450/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were offered at RMB 10675/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1345/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices remained steady and hovered in the range of RMB 10275/ton to RMB 10325/ton.
PSF prices went down in the Asian market. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1575/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were marked at US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable and hovered in the range of RMB 11000/ton to RMB 11050/ton.
Prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained steady in Chinese domestic market and were quoted at RMB 11250/ton, RMB 12500/ton and RMB 11300/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY dropped down to US$ 1525/ton, US$ 1685/ton and US$ 1515/ton, respectively.
