A two-day program on “Energy Management in Spinning Mills” will be conducted by The South India Textile Research Association (SITRA) in Coimbatore on June 25-26.
Considering that energy costs are escalating, SITRA said, there was an urgent need to manage usage by conserving and by its effective usage.
The program will cover all aspects related to energy usage in various spinning machines and also discuss about managing it properly.
SITRA believes there is ample scope to conserve energy in most of the processes and machinery and equipment used by the spinning sector.
The research body is of the opinion that energy costs surpassed all other costs in the manufacturing process of spinning mills.
