Sinopec adjusts June pre-offers for chips & PSF

In the just concluded week, Sinopec Group adjusted pre-offers of polyester chips and polyester staple fiber (PSF) for June conracts.

Semi-dull chips were at 9,600 Yuan / ton, bright chips and industrial yarn grade chips were at 9,600 Yuan / ton and dull chips were at 10,400 Yuan / ton.

In the mainstream polyester chips market, prices were going down and mainstream discussion was around 9,200 Yuan / ton in terms of cash payment.

Sinopec also adjusted pre-offers of PSF for June contracts. 1.4D semi-dull was at 10,800 Yuan / ton and 1.2D bright was at 11,300 Yuan / ton (to be delivered to buyer’s destination).

At present, in domestic mainstream markets, 1.4D PSF was quoted in the range of 10,400-10,500 Yuan / ton (cash or acceptance), the quotation was 400 Yuan / ton lower compared with its previous week.
