Chinese cotton yarn market still in doldrums

China's cotton yarn market remains in doldrums in recent times. Cotton yarn market looks flat, prices continue to fall and demad for carded yarn is inadequate.

A majority of small and medium-sized textile companies in north China are witnessing their sales rate declining.

The entire yarn market in Xiao Shan and Shao Xing area is in a downturn and most yarn manufacturers feel bearish about market outlook.

The number of the spinners either cutting production or altogether stopping operations is increasing.

Mainstream price of C32s for knitting is 24,500 Yuan / ton and mainstream price of JC32s is 29,000 Yuan / ton.

In Guangdong cotton yarn market, trade activities are flat; offer level of enterprises steadily declines. But delivery of 6-12s air spinning yarn, carded 16S and combed 32S ring-spun yarn is acceptable.

In Henan and Anhui region, ex-factory price of low-cost carded C32s is mainly at 24,500 Yuan / ton, combed JC32s is offered at 29,000 Yuan / ton.
