Carpet Recycling UK Conference opens on July 11

US-based organisations Sustainable Material Solutions LLC and Carpet Cycle will present on the latest developments from across the Atlantic. A series of sessions will address 'closing the loop', including re-thinking product design by Hamburg-based Cradle to Cradle specialists EPEA; manufacturing processes by Danish manufacturers Egetaeppper a/s and sourcing appropriate raw materials by specialist suppliers Aquafil SPA and Wools of New Zealand.

"This conference will demonstrate the significant growth of the UK carpet recycling network over the past year and share that success" says Jane Gardner, "The introduction of parallel breakout sessions will also allow attendees to choose the subjects of most value to them."

A networking dinner will precede the conference on July 10th. This year sponsorship is provided by Invista, manufacturers of Antron carpet fibres.
