The exhibition team was delighted to welcome many visitors to the stand, a sign of the optimism in the Vietnamese textile sector. The people manning the stand met many old customers and made many new contacts.
The topic of most of the conversations was the CFP components on high-speed warp knitting machines, which gives textile producers the opportunity to save energy and improve quality, and the TM 2 machine.
This two-bar tricot machine is produced at KARL MAYER’s subsidiary in China, and the visitors were impressed by its excellent price:performance ratio.
In addition to domestic textile companies, foreign investors paid a visit to KARL MAYER’s stand, e.g. from Korea, Taiwan, Italy and China, with the intention of setting up their own product lines in Vietnam. The country has recently been overtaken by a real groundswell of new textile and clothing companies – a clear indication of the importance of the Vietnamese textile industry to international textile machinery manufacturers.
