PSF, PTA prices decline in Asia, PX surges

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PX prices went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1355/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices increased and were quoted at US$ 1335/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1345/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian market. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 985/ton.
 
PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down and were offered in the range of US$ 885/ton to US$ 890/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went up and were assessed in the range of RMB 7375/ton to RMB 7425/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mix trend in Asia. In S E Asian region, Ethylene prices went up and were quoted in the range of US$ 1015/ton to US$ 1020/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 980/ton. 
 
In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of 42.00 cents/pound to 42.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1025/ton and € 880/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices remained stable in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices remained unchanged and were assessed at US$ 885/ton. In China market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 880/ton to US$ 885/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up and were offered in the range of RMB 6725/ton to RMB 6775/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 9400/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices continued to be stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 9075/ton to RMB 9125/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1395/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1295/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9800/ton to RMB 9850/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY and DTY prices stayed stable and were marked at RMB 10100/ton and RMB 11450/ton, respectively while FDY prices went down to RMB 10000/ton. In export market, offers for POY and DTY remained unchanged and were offered at US$ 1350/tonand US$ 1530/ton, respectively while FDY price went down to US$ 1320/ton.
