Chinese CPL spot import market light on July 16

China's spot market of caprolactam imports, in terms of US dollars, remained light on July 16.
Offers from cargo holders were in the range of US$ 2,250-2,260/ton, while downstream manufacturers bid in the range of US$ 2,220/ton, and actual negotiations took place in the price range of US$ 2,220-2,230/ton.
In East China, domestic caprolactam market was flat. Cargo holders quoted offer price in the range of 18,300-18,500 Yuan/ton, whereas downstream manufacturers asked for 18,000 Yuan/ton, and actually negotiated price was in the range of 18,100-18,300 Yuan/ton.
