PX, MEG prices continue to rise in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices went up and were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1400/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1405 /ton to US$ 1410/ton.
 
PTA prices stayed stable in the Asian market. In S E Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1005/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7750/ton to RMB 7800/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asia. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1075/ton. 
 
In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices continued to be stable in the range of 48.00 cents/pound to 48.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in European international market to US$ 1195/ton, while they remained stable in European domestic market at € 1075/ton. 
 
MEG prices went up in the Asian market. In S E Asian region, MEG prices moved up and were assessed at US$ 990/ton. In China market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices inched up and were assessed in the range of RMB 7475/ton to RMB 7525/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices continued to be stable at RMB 9650/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices rose and were offered in the range of RMB 9825/ton to RMB 9875/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in the Asian market. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1470/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were offered at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed steady in the range of RMB 10325/ton to RMB 10375/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY increased and were offered at RMB 11200/ton, RMB 12550/ton and RMB 11200/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY increased and were assessed at US$ 1510/ton, US$ 1685/ton, and US$ 1495/ton, respectively.
