Chinese VSF manufacturers increase price

Some manufacturers in China raised the price of their viscose staple fibres (VSF) on August 7 and prices were quoted in the range of 15,600-15,900 Yuan/ton.
Transactions took place at 15,400 Yuan/ton or slightly higher. However, some manufacturers executed previous orders at 15,300 Yuan/ton.
Trading atmosphere was good. Some manufacturers hold ample export orders and domestic supply is comparatively tight.
For VSF 1.2D, offers rose to 15,900 Yuan/ton, while buyers bid for 15,600 Yuan/ton, actual negotiations took place in the range of 15,700-15,800 Yuan/ton.
