Aerodyne launches new fabric to develop parachute system

Aerodyne Research Manufacturing Pty Ltd created a new fabric called ZPX to develop parachute system. ZPX is stronger; lighter; thinner; with reduced pack volume compared with traditional parachute nylon ripstop zero porosity (or zero air permeability / airflow fabric ) and which significantly reduces the effects of damage to the fabric.
In addition, ZPX has the key safety benefit of practically self sealing properties should the parachute fabric be damaged during use.
Aerodyne Research is a designer and manufacturer of parachutes participating in the worldwide parachute industry with the manufacture and supply of both military and sport parachutes.
