PSF prices plummet in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices were steady in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1440/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton.

PTA prices maintained stable trend in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1020/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined in the range of US$ 1015/ton to US$ 1020/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged in the range of RMB 7875/ton to RMB 7925/ton.

Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1185/ton to US$ 1190/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1200/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged in the range of 53.00 cents/pound to 53.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1270/ton and € 1120/ton, respectively.

MEG prices maintained steady in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices remained unchanged at US$ 1010/ton. In China market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went down in the range of RMB 7625/ton to RMB 7675/ton.

In S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were unchanged at RMB 10100/ton.

In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of RMB 9900/ton to RMB 9950/ton.

PSF prices plunged down in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1520/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went down in the range of RMB 10675/ton to RMB 10725/ton.

In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained steady and were quoted at RMB 11300/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11150/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY were unchanged at US$ 1525/ton, US$ 1690/ton, and US$ 1485/ton, respectively.
