Chinese ACN spot market witnesses limited supply

There was limited supply in Chinese acrylonitirile (ACN) spot market and the suppliers intended to further raise their prices. But there was uncertainty in market outlook and the downstream market lacks momentum. So, there is limited scope for the prices continuing their upward trend.
In East China, spot supply of ACN hovered around 14,500 Yuan/ton at ports on August 20. While some sellers were keen to increase their offer price, discussion atmosphere was not strong.
In North China, ACN manufacturers quoted price in the range of 13,000-13,700 Yuan/ton.
In Shandong market, ACN spot offers were in the range of 14,100-14,300 Yuan/ton, in terms of shipment made by traders.
In East China, ACN manufacturers quoted price at 14,200 Yuan/ton.
