Liberty, one of the last great emporiums for innovative and eclectic design, is now stocking Scarlet & Argent by Hainsworth woollen blankets and throws.

Hainsworth, one of Britain’s most prestigious textile mills, is supplying the famous store with four blankets and throws from its new luxury lifestyle range Scarlet & Argent.

Each piece is created exclusively by the Yorkshire-based Mill which has been in business since 1783 and holds a Royal Warrant. Its iconic scarlet cloth is worn exclusively by the Queen’s Guards and Prince William even wore it on his wedding day.

Michelle Alger, Buying Manager Home for Liberty, said: ‘The Scarlet & Argent brand works well with my customers, as it is British made, fantastic quality and beautifully presented.’

Tom Hainsworth, MD of Hainsworth, said: ‘Liberty is synonymous with luxury and great design so we are delighted to be showcasing Scarlet & Argent there.

‘Only the finest natural materials are used in every Scarlet & Argent blanket and throw and every piece is impeccably finished. It is this attention to detail that gives our beautiful woollen lifestyle accessories their exceptional quality, their indulgent textures and a special place in any home.’

The Scarlet & Argent Collection at Liberty

The Albion Throw is inspired by the iconic colours of the British flag. Woven from soft Shetland wool and subtly decorated with patriotic stripes of red, white and blue, it is perfect for throwing over a comfy sofa or bed or as a patriotic picnic rug. Price £105.

The Equine Amber Throw – A true statement piece, this beautifully tactile throw is inspired by equestrian heritage style and woven with the iconic Newmarket colour palette of amber, red and navy.

Top & Tail Blanket – With its contemporary, masculine design and striking block colours, this blanket exudes confidence and sophistication. Created with the finest quality wool it is luxuriously thick and will give your living space or bedroom rugged warmth and an urban edge.

Twill & Granite Throw – The name Twill & Granite derives from the two special weaves used to create these subtly striped throws. Beautifully textured and woven with only the finest merino wool, Twill & Granite throws exude relaxed sophistication. Price: £150. Colours include: Natural, Teal or Lavender.
