China's CPL spot import market stable on Aug 27

The caprolactam (CPL) spot market for imports in China were temporarily stable on August 27.
Cargo holders quoted price in the range of US$ 2,310-2,320/ton, while downstream manufacturers bid in the range of US$ 2,280-2,290/ton, and actual negotiations took place in the range of US$ 2,290-2,300/ton. Actual transactions were moderate.
In East China, CPL prices were stable and the market was in wait-and-watch mode. Cargo holders offered in the range of 18,300-18,400 Yuan/ton. Downstream manufacturers asked for price of around 18,200 Yuan/ton, and actual negotiations were in the range of 18,200-18,300 Yuan/ton. Actual negotiations were very few.
