PTA & MEG prices increase in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed mixed trend in the Asian region. In   S E Asian region, PX prices were steady in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1460/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1485/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices surged in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1040/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained unchanged in the range of RMB 8125/ton to RMB 8175/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept steady in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1295/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1220/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased in the range of 58.50 cents/pound to 59.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed unchanged in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1295/ton and € 1135/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, MEG prices surged and were assessed at US$ 1065/ton. In China market, MEG prices declined in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of RMB 8000/ton to RMB 8050/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices kept stable at RMB 10150/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of RMB 10050/ton to RMB 10100/ton.
 
PSF prices kept steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1525/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1425/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable in the range of RMB 10800/ton to RMB 10850/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were stable at RMB 11250/ton, RMB 12650/ton and RMB 11150/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY stayed steady at US$ 1520/ton, US$ 1700/ton and US$ 1490/ton, respectively.
