Ethylene, MEG & PSF prices surge in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices went down in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1450/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went up and were quoted in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1485/ton.
 
PTA prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1050/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased in the range of RMB 8200/ton to RMB 8250/ton.
 
Ethylene prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices increased in the range of US$ 1325/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1315/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed stable in the range of 61.00 cents/pound to 61.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices went up in European international and domestic markets to US$ 1340/ton and € 1195/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 1075/ton. In China market, MEG prices went up in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 8150/ton to RMB 8200/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable at RMB 10150/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of RMB 10050/ton to RMB 10100/ton.
 
PSF prices went up in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1530/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were offered at US$ 1430/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went down in the range of RMB 10725/ton to RMB 10775/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices went down and were offered at RMB 11150/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11050/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY declined and were quoted at US$ 1505/ton, US$ 1695/ton and US$ 1475/ton, respectively.
