PX, PTA & MEG markets decline in Asia

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asian markets. In     S E Asian region, PX prices declined in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1460/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1485/ton to US$ 1490/ton.   
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went down in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market surged in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were stable in the range of RMB 8175/ton to RMB 8225/ton. 
 
Ethylene prices continued to show mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices went down in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1325/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1315/ton. 
 
In the US market, Ethylene prices surged in the range of 61.00 cents/pound to 61.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1340/ton and € 1195/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices plunged in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices declined and were offered at US$ 1065/ton. In China market, MEG prices went up in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable in the range of RMB 8175/ton to RMB 8225/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were stable at RMB 10250/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of RMB 10100/ton to RMB 10150/ton.
 
PSF prices were stable in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1530/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1430/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed unchanged in the range of RMB 10725/ton to RMB 10775/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices continued to be steady and were assessed at RMB 11150/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11100/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY declined and were quoted at US$ 1500/ton, US$ 1690/ton and US$ 1480/ton, respectively.
