Chinese acrylic fibre spot market steady

The spot market of acrylic fibre in China is steady. Although manufacturers are increasing their offer price owing to sustained high costs of production, the market is not responding to increase in price as production and sales of acrylic yarn remains flat.
For mid-September, some manufacturers continue to hike their acrylic fibre offer price by about 400 Yuan/ton.
However, the negotiated price is slightly rising and the quotation for acrylic fibre in mainstream market is currently in the range of 17,000-17,600 Yuan/ton.
Hence, the buyers would now look forward to mid-month price quotation from manufacturers.
