Asian MEG & PX prices rise; Ethylene steady

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices surged in the range of US$ 1520/ton to US$ 1525/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1520/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1510/ton to US$ 1515/ton.    
 
PTA prices kept unchanged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1070/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market surged in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased in the range of RMB 8225/ton to RMB 8275/ton. 
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in the Asian region.  In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1285/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1300/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable in the range of 59.50 cents/pound to 60.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1380/ton and € 1200/ton, respectively.  
 
MEG prices went up in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 1080/ton. In China market, MEG prices increased in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1075/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 8250/ton to RMB 8300/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady at RMB 10350/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
PSF prices stayed steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1535/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1435/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept unchanged in the range of RMB 10925/ton to RMB 10975/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were stable at RMB 11200/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11100/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1510/ton, US$ 1695/ton and US$ 1480/ton, respectively.
