Chinese ACN prices continue to stay at high level

Acrylonitrile (ACN) market in China continued to remain at high level on September 13. At ports, traders were reluctant to sell at lower levels in spot market, as they had no inventory pressure.
In spot market, ACN offers were around 15,000 Yuan/ton in terms of shipment by buyer. Some offers were at even higher price levels, but there was lack of momentum from downstream buyers to further push the prices.
Domestic ACN manufacturers quoted price in the range of 13,800-14,5000 Yuan/ton.
In Shandong market, ACN prices were quoted in the range of 14,800-14,900 Yuan/ton for spot goods, in terms of delivery at buyer’s location. However, actual negotiations were moderate.
