Asian Ethylene & PX prices show mixed trend

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In   S E Asian region, PX prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1485/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1470/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1495/ton to US$ 1500/ton. 
 
PTA prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1070ton to US$ 1075/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1070/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed steady in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined in the range of RMB 8275/ton to RMB 8325/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices increased in the range of US$ 1335/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1280/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged in the range of 59.00 cents/pound to 59.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices continued to be stable in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1400/ton and € 1185/ton, respectively. 
 
MEG prices remained stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices remained unchanged and were offered at US$ 1090/ton. In China market, MEG prices were steady in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went down in the range of RMB 8225/ton to RMB 8275/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady at RMB 10650/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of RMB 10400/ton to RMB 10450/ton.
 
PSF prices were steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1520/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined in the range of RMB 11025/ton to RMB 11075/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY and DTY prices stayed stable and were quoted at RMB 11450/ton and RMB 12700/ton, respectively, while FDY prices declined to RMB 11250/ton. In export market, offers for POY and DTY stayed unchanged and were offered at US$ 1550/ton and US$ 1710/ton, respectively, while FDY price plunged down to US$ 1500/ton.
