Chinese polyester FDY prices decline

Market transactions in Chinese polyester FDY market have reduced and prices continue to be under pressure.
Corporate sales remain moderate at about 50 percent and inventories with enterprises are continuing to pileup.
Currently, the offer price of FDY 50D/24F, FDY 75D/36F and FDY 100D/48F are around 13,200 Yuan/ton, 12,400 Yuan/ton and 12,000 Yuan/ton, respectively.
FDY 150D/96F is being offered at 11,600 Yuan/ton.
At present, FDY inventory level is slightly more than 15 days.
Overall, the Chinese polyester FDY market is likely to continue in adjustment phase in the short-term.
