Chinese polyester DTY market volume dips

The volume of polyester DTY transactions in Chinese domestic market had declined compared to previous week.
Enterprises are making efforts to maintain their sales by adopting promotion measures.
However, corporate sales have fallen significantly, in some cases by as much as 70 percent.
At present, market offers of DTY 150D/48F and 150D/144F meshwork filament are 12,900 Yuan/ton and 13,200 Yuan/ton, respectively.
DTY inventory level with manufacturers is about four weeks.
In short-term, Chinese domestic polyester DTY market is likely to show weak adjustment.
