China's CPL imports jump in August

In August 2012, China imported 63,300 tons of caprolactam (CPL), showing a rise of 23.63 percent over 51,200 tons of CPL imported in August last year.
On a month-on-month basis, China’s August CPL imports rose by 8.95 percent compared to imports of 5,200 tons made in July 2012.
The average price of CPL imports by China was US$ 2,292/ton in August, a decline of 31.29 percent year-on-year and 4.28 percent month-on-month.
