Chinese VSF prices decline significantly

Prices of Cotton Linter surged down to RMB 3150/ton in the previous week. Earlier, market opened in the range of RMB 3150/ton to RMB 3250/ton. In the last update from market, prices hovered in the range of RMB 3200/ton to RMB 3400/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 3100/ton to RMB 3250/ton. Average price for last week was RMB 3150/ton.

Market of Dissolving Pulp had slightly decreased by RMB 50/ton to RMB 7600/ton and later maintained a stable trend in the last week. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 1010/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1030/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 1000/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were at US$ 1000/ton.

During the previous week, VSF prices declined significantly to RMB 14650/ton and later maintained a stable trend. Earlier, price opened in the range of RMB 14650/ton to RMB 15450/ton, but trading price declined to RMB 14650/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 2.07/kg to US$ 2.13/kg. Market experts believe that price would remain range bound around US$ 2.10/kg in the near future.

Prices of VFY slightly inched down to RMB 43430/ton and later maintain a steady trend in the last week. Earlier, market opened in the range of RMB 43400/ton to RMB 43500/ton, but the trading price surged down to RMB 43430/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6200/ton to US$ 6300/ton.
