Chinese VSF & VFY prices remain stable

In the previous week, prices of Cotton Linter were steady at RMB 3150/ton, but the market opened with a decline of RMB 3000/ton. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 3200/ton to RMB 3400/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 3100/ton to RMB 3200/ton. Average price for last week was at RMB 3100/ton.
 
Market of Dissolving Pulp had maintained a stable trend at RMB 7600/ton in the last week, but the market opened with a decrease of RMB 7550/ton. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 1010/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1030/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 1000/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were at US$ 1000/ton.
 
During the previous week, VSF prices were unchanged at RMB 14650/ton and continued to maintain a stable trend. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 2.05/kg to US$ 2.10/kg. Market experts estimate the price to remain range bound around US$ 2.10/kg in the near future.
 
Prices of VFY continued to uphold a steady trend at RMB 43430/ton in the last week. Earlier market opened in the range of RMB 43380/ton to RMB 43480/ton, but the trading prices remained stable at RMB 43430/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6190/ton to US$ 6280/ton.
