Ethylene prices decline in US & Far East Asia

Paraxylene (PX) prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1570/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1560/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1575/ton to US$ 1580/ton.     
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went down in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1105/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1105/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged in the range of RMB 8425/ton to RMB 8475/ton. 
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1375/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices went down and were assessed at US$ 1270/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed stable in European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1410/ton and € 1215/ton, respectively.    
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices went up and were quoted at US$ 1125/ton. In China market, MEG prices increased in the range of US$ 1115/ton to US$ 1120/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained unchanged in the range of RMB 8375/ton to RMB 8425/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady at RMB 10475/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices went down and were offered in the range of RMB 10350/ton to RMB 10400/ton. 
 
PSF prices kept unchanged in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1585/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1485/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased in the range of RMB 11050/ton to RMB 11100/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were offered at RMB 11350/ton, RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11250/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY surged and were assessed at US$ 1540/ton, US$ 1715/ton and US$ 1510/ton, respectively.
