Creative Fibre Festival coming soon

Creative Fibre Festival 2006 ('Art Deco') will take place from April 20 to 23, 2006 at Taradale, Hawkes Bay.
The Fashion Parades will be excitingly presented at the main venue, Pettigrew Green Arena, with plenty of seating for all wishing to attend either the afternoon parade or the Gala evening parade on Friday.
The Art Deco Taradale Town Hall is the setting for the Society Exhibition. This is right in the village only 10 -12 minutes walk from the Pettigrew Green Arena on Gloucester Street, where all main events, such as Special Interest Group meetings, Opening, AGM and Closing, will take place.
The Education Committee has put together an interesting and varied program with something to suit everyone. Education classes will be held straight across the road from the Arena at the Eastern Institute of Technology. There is ample parking at both of these places.
Trades Hall will also be in the Arena on ground level with plenty of room for all to roam around and add to your supply of yarns and all the yummy things can't resist.
The tours planned are most interesting, one of which is, of course, the Art Deco Walk around the City of Napier rebuilt following the 1931 earthquake.
They delighted to welcome you back to Hastings and Napier, the twin cities of Hawkes Bay. It's been too long since our last Festival in 1985 at the Hawkes Bay Showgrounds.
The new venue is large, modern and well-equipped.
Creative Fibre is the New Zealand organisation for all fibre crafts. It brings together spinners, weavers, knitters, dyers, flax workers, felters, crocheters, free form fibre artists and all other people involved in the use of fibre.
