PTA & MEG prices rise in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1575/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1555/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market kept unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1575/ton to US$ 1580/ton.     
 
PTA prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went down in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1100/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down in the range of RMB 8250/ton to RMB 8300/ton. 
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices went down in the range of US$ 1365/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1300/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in European international market to US$ 1420/ton and went down in domestic market to € 1205/ton.
 
MEG prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices dropped down and were offered at US$ 1110/ton. In China market, MEG prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1115/ton to US$ 1120/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8350/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were quoted in the range US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady at RMB 10475/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 10225/ton to RMB 10275/ton.
 
PSF prices were steady in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1580/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1480/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices plunged down in the range of RMB 10900/ton to RMB 10950/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were steady at RMB 11250/ton, RMB 12650/ton and RMB 11200/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged and were assessed at US$ 1525/ton, US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1505/ton, respectively.
