Chinese VFY prices decline significantly

Prices of Cotton Linter had maintained a steady trend at RMB 3000/ton in the previous week but the market sentiments opened with a rise of US$ 50/ton to US$ 3050/ton. In the last update from market, prices were in the range of RMB 3100/ton to RMB 3400/ton. Trading offers were in between RMB 2950/ton to RMB 3200/ton. Average price for last week was at RMB 3000/ton.

In the last week, prices of Dissolving Pulp upheld a stable trend at RMB 7375/ton. Prices of imported Dissolving Wood Pulp were assessed in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 970/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from the US were in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1020/ton, while those from Canada were in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 1000/ton. Prices of Pulp imported from Sweden and Russia were in the range of US$ 960/ton to US$ 980/ton.

During the previous week, VSF prices declined to RMB 14300/ton and later maintained a stable trend. Earlier, market opened in the range of RMB 14400/ton to RMB 14600/ton, but the trading prices went down to RMB 14300/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 2.07/kg to US$ 2.13/kg. Market experts expect the price to remain range bound around US$ 2.10/kg in the near future.

Prices of VFY significantly declined to RMB 42800/ton in the previous week. Earlier, market opened in the range of RMB 43200/ton to RMB 43600/ton, but the trading prices considerably inched down to RMB 42800/ton. In the Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6180/ton to US$ 6280/ton.
