Slight improvement in China's nylon chip market

Slight improvement was seen in China’s nylon chip market resulting in stabilization of prices of most products in nylon market.
In Zhejiang market, the price of low-end POY 85D/24 is currently in the range of 23,000-23,500 yuan/ton. The demand from downstream manufacturers is providing support to domestic market.
The price of high-end super stretch nylon yarn 70D/24 is in the range of 28,000-28,500 yuan/ton with six-month acceptance. However, some medium and large-scale manufacturers are offering the yarn at price of around 27,000 yuan/ton. Trading in market is moderate and the price seems to be gradually stabilizing.
In Jiangsu region, the price of nylon monofilament 30D is in the range of 25,500-26,000 yuan/ton in terms of cash payment. Currently, prices seem to be stabilizing and manufacturers plan to introduce marginal promotional offers if raw material prices dip further.
