MEG & Ethylene prices decline in Southeast Asia

Paraxylene (PX) prices kept unchanged in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1555/ton to US$ 1560/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1545/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market were stable in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1570/ton.
 
PTA prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1100/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market were stable in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined in the range of RMB 8125/ton to RMB 8175/ton.  
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1295/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1280/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the range of 56.00 cents/pound to 56.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were also steady in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1350/ton and € 1180/ton, respectively.     
 
MEG prices went down in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices declined and were offered at US$ 1065/ton. In China market, MEG prices were stable in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined in the range of RMB 7950/ton to RMB 8000/ton.    
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices maintained steady trend and were quoted in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton, while some deals were negotiated in the price range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged at RMB 10300/ton.    
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 10000/ton to RMB 10050/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1525/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1425/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 10650/ton to RMB 10700/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices stayed steady and were offered at RMB 11100/ton, RMB 12500/ton and RMB 11050/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained steady and were quoted at US$ 1505/ton, US$ 1690/ton and US$ 1485/ton, respectively.
