Birthed from two decades of travel through Asia and Europe, The Tailored Nest now brings globally-sourced Dutch wax textiles to the wholesale market through its wide selection of vibrant bedding and home furnishings. These one-of-a-kind pieces layer easily into any decor to achieve an eclectic blend of traditional, modern, and exotic.

This unique company offers retailers and customers the opportunity to honor the legacy of traditional techniques while supporting fair trade principles that sustain rural communities around the world.

Founder and Creative Director of The Tailored Nest, Valerie Roseborough, understands that the modern consumer has a growing appreciation of, and desire for, products that embody the cross-cultural dialogue that fuels the global community.

In recent years, prominent designers and merchants have grown receptive to the consumer’s concern with balancing global consumerism with fair trade practices. Roseborough, too, shares this concern.

During her travels, she spent time with indigenous artists to understand the needs of the local communities and the historical significance of their work. Each pattern tells a story, and each creation from The Tailored Nest enriches the home by bringing the global experience into the most intimate spaces.

The Tailored Nest is a cross cultural lifestyle brand that celebrates artisan textiles indigenous to the far corners of the world. The company is a woman-owned small business founded by Valerie Roseborough. Valerie brings over 25 years of Design, Manufacturing, and Product Development experience to The Tailored Nest.
