Asian PX trends dip, PTA & MEG surge

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asian market. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1550/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1540/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market stable was offered in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1570/ton.     

PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices increased in the range of US$ 1090/ton to US$ 1095/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1090/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market went up in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were steady in the range of RMB 8100/ton to RMB 8150/ton.

Ethylene prices stayed steady in Asian market. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1285/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were unchanged at US$ 1280/ton. In the U.S market, Ethylene prices declined in the range of 54.00 cents/pound to 54.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept stable in European international market and in the domestic market and were offered at US$ 1350/ton and € 1180/ton, respectively.    

MEG prices increased in Asian market. In S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 1080/ton. In China market, MEG prices surged in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up in the range of RMB 8000/ton to RMB 8050/ton.   

In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips maintained stable in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton. Some deals were talked in between US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were steady at RMB 10300/ton.    

In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 10000/ton to RMB 10050/ton.

PSF prices stood stable in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF was offered at US$ 1520/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 10600/ton to RMB 10650/ton. 

In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were steady and were assessed at RMB 11100/ton, RMB 12500/ton and RMB 11050/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY were unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1505/ton, US$ 1690/ton and US$ 1485/ton, respectively.
