Sumitomo to restart CPL plant in end-November

Sumitomo Chemical Co is likely to restart its Caprolactam (CPL) plant at the end of November.
“The plant which has two CPL lines was taken off-stream for a turnaround in mid-October 2012 and is likely to restart in end- November”, an official told fibre2fashion.
The production capacity of line No-1 and line No-2 located in Niihama, Ehime prefecture in Japan is 95,000 tons / year and 85,000 tons / year, respectively.
