Chinese benzene market in strong wait-n-watch mode

Strong wait-and-watch sentiment is currently prevailing in Chinese domestic benzene market.
In East China, pure benzene offers were in the range of 10,500-10,600 yuan/ton on November 21. Both supply and demand were limited.
In Shandong market, pure benzene prices hovered in the range of 10,500-10,600 yuan/ton. Here too, actual negotiations and buying was limited.
The price of pure benzene from the northwest brand of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) remained stable on November 21.
Meanwhile, Dushanzi and Urumqi Petrochemical implemented the ex-factory price at 9,350 yuan/ton for East China region and 9,450 yuan/ton for Southwest China.
The ex-factory price for East China from Lanzhou Petrochemical was implemented at 9,700 yuan/ton.
