Ramtex Incorporated witnesses 'year of outstanding sales'

Ramtex, which has supplied to manufacturers and jobbers who sell fabric by the yard for more than 15 years, has experienced a 17.5% expansion in its sales over the last year. In addition, Ramtex has also seen an increase in China to China sales and has opened a 2,000 square foot showroom in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province.

"It's been a fantastic year," said Danny Korori, president of Ramtex. "We're very grateful and would especially like to thank all of our amazing clients for their support over the years. It's really been a pleasure doing business with all of our customers. I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know how much we truly appreciate their business. Now that we're at this outstanding new facility, we'll be in a position to have deeper inventory and continue to introduce innovative new lines, and that's very exciting."

"Of course, we'll also miss Towne Avenue," Mr. Korori added, referring to Ramtex's former facilities. "We obviously had a lot of great times working in downtown Los Angeles. That's where we grew from the small operation I started in 1996 to what we are today. But now it's really time to spread our wings and we need a larger facility for that."

"We're also very excited by the new showroom in Hangzhou. We've been manufacturing in China for some time, and this allows us to take our growth directly to lots of new customers in China. Ramtex is a company devoted to being where the action is. China is so central these days to the textile business – and really all kinds of businesses – that I think being there will be a really important part of Ramtex's growth for the future," Mr. Korori said.
