With the latest procurement, the total quantity of cotton purchased by the Government for state reserves during the current season adds up to 4.024 million tons. Of this, about 2.069 million tons of cotton was supplied by Xinjiang, 1.329 million tons by inland areas and the remaining 625,650 tons were sold by other enterprises.
